What is nearshoring?

 

The word nearshearing is reduced to a strategy used by companies, mainly in Latin America, to transfer part of their production processes to third parties that will facilitate the arrival of products to other closer countries and with very similar schedules. It arises mainly in response to a strategy that already existed called offshoring, which is totally the opposite… a relocation of part of the company that brings with it problems such as culture clashes or the lack of trained personnel to carry out offshoring tasks.
